Best meal my lady I have had in recent memory. Service was warm, fast, friendly, and attentive and our dietary restrictions (gluten and shellfish) were carefully considered and accommodated without issue. And the food... I dont know if food is the most accurate word. We're talking culinary art. We're talking borderline psychedelic yet comforting flavors that evoke a cascade of endorphins. Boucherie (charcuterie) board had a perfect complement of tangy pickles and mustards, caramelized fruits, and smoky, savory cured meats from which to create a diverse variety of compelling bites. Sweet potato soup was a smooth and creamy oasis, the butteriness of which was balanced by the crispy and deeply herbal sage leaves and sweet apple chutney; pure indulgence. The catfish, which we got grilled rather than fried to avoid gluten in the fryer, was a great snapshot of the cuisine the restaurant pays a refined homage to, well-cooked and seasoned and served with rich grits and tiny beans which added a fun texture. Though that would have been plenty of food for two, we went whole hog, so to speak, and got the Tip Link as well, a saucy porcine delight. The rib tips were bountifully meaty and brought back the smokiness from the appetizer for a full circle moment. Far from falling off the bone, the rib meat had an almost jerky-like texture that forced us to chew slowly and deliberately, extracting every drop of flavor from the farm-fresh pork and piquant barbecue sauce. The bacon fat fries, while nice and thick, weren't anything to write home about, but the coleslaw brought a welcome freshness and crunch that brightened the dish just enough. Extensive beverage selection as well, and shockingly affordable for a highly decadent meal in the year of supply chain chokeholds. Can't wait to return tell only the friends who have done me favors to deserve it.

Great atmosphere, friendly and professional staff, free coffee refills and, my god, the Dutch Apple Griddle Cake! If I lived nearby, I'd be in every day for that alone!

The Hostess was very polite and nice. Crayfish cakes, fried chicken and the turnip greens were amazing. Apple pie, breezy peezy, corn bread,biscuits and gravy were not good. Catfish was cooked well just needed seasoning. Hot sauce helped with that.
