I loved this place! The ambiance is very nice, chill and a bit romantic too. They had live music, a cello and piano, and they were amazing! The food and drinks were great too. For drinks, we got the martini cocktail and ice T cocktail. They were both not too sweat, and strong! For food, we did calamari and beef kababs, which came out with fresh bread and this great dip. The calamari was hot and crispy, and the beef kebabs were these steak medallions! They were so juicy and tender and perfectly cooked. The yogurt dip it came with was great too. The service was great too, everything came out quick and they were very attentive. I would definitely come here again!
Incredible food and cocktails, a really great mean experience. I'm dumbfounded that they have no hooks by the tables in the Bordeaux Room for coats or purses. These are must-haves in Chicago and they should really consider adding something to the tables.
The food was very, very salty. We enjoyed the outdoor pianist and sitting under a tree. I would not go back, though. The concept also seems confused—one side is Bordeaux and the other is Turquoise, but it's all the same menu and other than a few wines from Bordeaux, there's nothing French about it. The menu is printed on thick plastic that you can't turn, so that's another misstep. I'd put that it was our wedding anniversary in the reservation, but that didn't generate anything from the staff. We left to go elsewhere for dessert.
We had the best server who took great care with our group. The food was delicious, I was very impressed with my friends dish, Ossobuco!!! I would highly recommend it. There was a jazz duo playing which really made the atmosphere festive.
