Carnitas Don Rafa - Chicago

I have been to Carnitas Don Rafa Restaurant a number of times, and I have never been disappointed. While they don't have a huge and varied menu, the items that they offer are all prepared excellently; and they always greet you with a smile and prompt service. As I believe I may have stated before, I am, and will remain a returning customer, and if you give them a try, you might find yourself one too.Kid-friendliness: While I do not personally have children mine are all grown now), I have seen families seated and dining, so I would say that Don Rafa is a family-oriented restaurant; which would imply that they are kid-friendly, while being more of a whole family-oriented restaurant, and not primarily a kid- leaning restaurant; but it would appear all are welcomed.

Food was great and so was the service. Only downside is the chairs are so uncomfortable and small.

Today my daughter invited me for brunch at this location everything was ok well served by waitress food came on time and look delicious. chilaquiles don Rafa) but when I was eating it I got something in my mouth like plastic or nail ???????‍? so ? nasty omg terrible!! We call the waitress and glad the manager was present also. She didn’t charge the plate. But is not the point. That’s insane. How come you will found things in your food ? at the moment that you eating ?️ eating. It’s disgusting ?!!! Not recommend this place!!!! No lo recomiendo!! Unhappy Costumer!!! Thanks

The breakfast food was delicious. The carnitas were incredibly flavorful, and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting with fast service.

As for parking, they don't have their own lot, so you'll have to find street parking or park around the block.
