De?michaels Market - Chicago

I was in Chicago for a short stay and wandered into the store. De Michael fixed me an amazing vegetarian sandwich that was out of the world. It was the best I've ever tasted, what made it even better was the man himself, a gentleman to the core. Support this nugget, so others can cherish it too!!

I stopped by to pick up a quick bite to eat and I had no idea what I wanted. The friendly staff person greeted me at the door and offered to make something special for me. He made one of the tastest sandwiches that I have had in a long time. Everything about the sandwich is right! Good service and local establishment that deserves our support!

Great place to eat, relax and have good conversation! Food was excellent! Michael is awesome on the grill and makes you feel at home if you are from another state. I’m from Ohio. He also gives you some of Chicago’s history on top it. Wonderful experience!!

De Michael makes all of the sandwiches himself. Very friendly and welcoming guy. I really enjoyed his bread suggestion for my Tuna sandwich. Fresh, toasted French bread, includes giardiniera. Very satisfying, and filling sandwich at a normal price. Available all day. I'm happy to give more business to De Michael.

The food is of excellent quality and the owner is extremely pleasant. There's a wonderful selection of beverages, snacks and grocery items that you wouldn't expect to find. Overall, both times I've visited, I have been very satisfied with my purchases.
