Dollop Coffee- Gold Coast - Chicago

I recently decided to try and work remotely from here one morning. Great location and good coffee, however, this place really needs a good cleaning and more comfortable seating for remote working environment. Also do not take cash. There are better Dollop locations E.Ohio) though they all seem to have uncomfortable seating for extended sitting. Much better options around the neighborhood.

I am writing this review while still enjoying an oat milk mocha with a savory pastry. This place is conveniently located in the business area of Chicago. It's interior design is cool, warming and inviting. The couch and sofa are absolutely comfortable. Coffee is really good, pastries are delicious, and the attention is just perfect. The patio looks nice as well but today is rather chilly to be outside. This Cafe is now one of my favorite ones in Chicago. 10/10.

Barista is super annoying and assumes you don’t know what you’re ordering. This is the 2nd time I placed an order a simple order a macchiato that she still asked me for clarification. Unless I ask a question, I’m ordering what I’m ordering. She needs to be educated/trained on basic customer service skills or I will stop ordering here altogether.

Worth the walk. Got a latte, great. Got a everything bagel with chive spread, delicious. Got a glaze doughnut, bomb!

Good coffee. Good vibes. The employee, Omar, brought a great energy and was quick to make drinks and food. Would reccomend ?
