This place is the real deal. Authentic food that is incredible with excellent service. The seafood if fresh and prepared like no other restaurant in Chicago. We go here as a family and my kids love the street tacos and burritos. I typically get the whole red snapper which is deep fried whole. Its great to see he kids see this dish hit the table and then they stop eating there meals and everyone eats the fish. 5 Starts for El Palmer and their staff and we will be back again!

Maybe it's what we ordered but we didn't find the food to be worth the price. Market rate meant my tampiquena was $30.Food: 3/5

I really like this place. The food is terrific; the waitresses are nice. Of course, the place is somewhat small and, it's usually busy when I've gone there. But, they certainly try to make room for everyone!
