Enso Sushi - Chicago

15 min at the door and for our reservations space. after we sat, waited half an hour and no one else came to our table, so we left.

Delicious food, quick friendly service. Ambience was dark and hip, had a gucci fashion show playing on a projector. Comfortable and fun overall. 10/10 would recommend!

The staff ignored us for the majority of the duration of our time there unless we literally begged for their attention. Our party of four tried to be patient as it was a Friday and it can be busy on weekends so we were very understanding of the fact that it can be overwhelming for the waitstaff, but when multiple tables seated after us got through their meals and left in a timely manner, we understood that we were purposefully being ignored. It was especially apparent in the way in which the waitstaff interacted with us as well. They made us feel as though we were a burden and annoying for trying to order food or drinks. I also found multiple long hairs tightly wrapped within my sushi rolls. Will NEVER eat here again and will tell everyone I know not to either. Down right despicable service and food.

It was completely empty on a Tuesday when we visited. There were just the two of us and three other customers, and there wasn't even any music to fill the silence. The service wasn’t impressive, especially considering there were only about six people in the restaurant. The fish was just okay, but the drinks were good—especially the fresh spicy margarita. Overall, I wouldn’t return.

Visited enso for chicago restaurant week. the food quality and quantity was excellent. the service was very good as the personal was friendly and attentive. enso continues to offer an exquisite dinning experience, and so I come back.
