Contribuisci feedbackFood was delicious and very well seasoned. Waiter was funny and worked hard to make sure everyone sitting was happy. Not only was the food well seasoned but it was cooked to everyone’s desire perfectly.
The grilled chicken sandwich that I ordered off the menu was SO good that I came back for lunch two days later and ordered the exact same thing!
Only the onion rings were good. The beet salad was okay. The chicken club with avocado came without the avocado and was not very good. When we were done eating the manager had the audacity to bring us an avocado on the plate. The cheese board had American and salami. The chef sent out the entree before the appetizer. We had to give the appetizer away to another table since we weren't hungry anymore for it. The management made our server cry. Their cocktails are made with syrup and not fruit. Will never go there again.
I took a group of 8 people here. Food was very basic. Terrible value for money even given the prime location. I realized later that evening that they had auto-grat checks. Meaning I tipped over 40%. There was zero indication from the staff or signs related to this policy. I gave the restaurant several weeks to remedy, called, let full cheque information, went through their contact us form on the website and still nothing. I will never eat here again and I'm going to make sure everyone at the conferences I'm at knows this place is terrible.
My husband and I visited Firelake after work one day. The food was fine but an incident by management turned us off and, frankly, we won 't be returning.My husband ordered a Martini and asked for it 'up ' in a Martini glass. He was charged an additional $4 for the Martini glass as did I who had an Old Fashioned (I had the audacity to ask for bourbon any bourbon on my OF). Our issue was that when we asked the manager to explain the extra charges he just sent the server back to us to explain. Poor guy apologized and said he just hit the buttons...What a slacker of a manager and I feel sorry for the wait staff. We tipped him a full 20%. Wasn 't his fault.Q: Why Upcharge to make a Martini in a Martini glass?Q: Why does the manager send a server to answer for the manager??
