Ended up ordering their chicken dish after having a rough experience at our dinner spot before this, and it was so good. The bartenders were great and drinks were on point. Definitely coming back!
We came on a weekday for lunch at Francois Frankie. Ordered mussels and frites as the appetizer. I was slightly expecting more from the frites. It was hard. After soaking in the broth of the mussels it became a little better. The mussels were sweet and tender and oh so fresh but the broth was a tad bit salty.Got steak frites too this time the frites weren’t that hard. Steak was pretty decent.Saffron bouillabaisse was a delight. I enjoyed that a lot. The baguette that soaked in the broth had a good chewy and crunchy texture.Service was great. Everyone was friendly and attentive.
Fell short. Arrived for dinner at 6pm for 8pm show. Never got our entree. At 7:35 we had to asked for the check. Disappointed to watch so many others who arrived after get their entrees while we did not. Made for a not so great start to date night. Won’t return. Wanted it to be good and worth returning. Service tried. Was told people called in sick. Although they allowed the restaurant to fill and not take care of patrons who reserved and arrived so early.
The brussel sprout chips, salmon, and sweet potato dessert were delicious. The tartar was just okay.
Just came in for a bottle of rosé to sit at the carousel. Such a cute place! The food that people had around us smelled delicious! Definitely want to go back. Just in a weird spot in the city but definitely cute! Nicky the bartender was suuuuuper amazing and sweet!
