Giordano's - Chicago

This is a nice restaurant in a very convenient location. However, the individual deep dish pizza I ordered didn't look or taste fresh. The crust was thick, but the filling was lacking.

Luis was fantastic! I absolutely love this place. I had a wonderful experience here. The bar down the street was a bit unfriendly, but when I came to Giordano's to order a pizza and a glass of wine, Luis made all the difference. He really improved my evening! I highly recommend this restaurant!

I stopped by to try the deep-dish pizza and was informed it would take 45 minutes to bake, so I ordered the sampler appetizer in the meantime. We chose the Chicago classic pizza, and I really enjoyed the freshness of the vegetables in it. We were able to walk in and be seated immediately, and the restaurant had a good amount of seating available. Our server was friendly, but I wish she had checked in on us a bit more during our meal to offer refills or additional drinks.

Outstanding spot to eat at before a Cubs game, just make sure you get there early enough because the deep dish pizzas take a little while. Overall it was a great experience.

Pizza was okay, nothing more. We came for the experience and to check the box. The pizza was nothing more than okay (we tried the deep dish special).
