Walked in thinking this was going to be a nice bakery with some bagels and such. Nope, it's a run of the mill Spanish bakery with VERY few options. Had to walk right back out. There are several really good Spanish bakeries in Albany Park, this didn't look like one of them, and even more of a knock for misleading business name.
Why is this wonderful local gem not on Maps? As your Local Guide, I'm telling you: It's cheap, great, and you must visit there to try delicious Guatemalan pastries and coffee!

The first time I visited, I didn't know it was cash only. I was with my 11 year old niece and told the woman working that we'd go find an ATM and come right back. I asked if she could hold our items on the side in the meantime. She insisted we take the items and come back later that day to pay. It was very trusting of her and refreshing to have a small neighborhood feel. The gesture was so very appreciated! I did pay later that day. :
