Gyu-kaku Japanese Bbq - Chicago

Omg, the most delicious thing I've had in my mouth in awhile ? lol. I love the set up and atmosphere. I thought us cooking at the table would throw me off but it was a lovely experience and the meat was delicious. Will definitely be going back.Food: 5/5

I didn't like the concept of cooking your own food, my clothes were smelly afterwards. Grills were not working properly as to only one side was heating. Service was so-so and the atmosphere is lacking... I feel this was a huge waste of money

We love Gyu Kaku and this is our go to location but lately the service has not been great. The all you can eat menu is timed so you would expect your items to come out quickly they do not. Our advice is to order everything at once. We had a reservation and still had to wait 20 minutes past our time to be seated. And we usually get there 10 minutes early so it was just a lot of waiting.

The lava cake was crazy good and it had such a perfect ice cream ball. The cheese corn is also very good, it was very unique and flavorful. Very buttery as well. I would definitely recommend getting those and coming here. Yummy

Very fun place to cook your own meal tableside. Grills get a bit warm so room can get warm as a result so dress accordingly. Casual, high value meal. I recommend the chefs choice for 2. Just the right amount of food. Best kimchee!
