Hawkeye's Bar & Grill - Chicago

I've been going to Hawkeye's since the mid sixties, went to P.R. for 24 years! When I came back to Chicago almost 10 years ago, my Drs are UI Health (little over 2 blks) from there. Every Dr visit means a Hawkeye's visit!!

Visited this bar on Friday, it was full pack but food and drinks both were very nice and hostess was kind. Burger and Nachos were fab

Had no food, bar is clean and clean smelling, lots of staff if I need anything, entire second floor nothing going on, you can really tell this economy has people at home a lot more often than not.

We've gone here for several years. Recently moved out of the area but try to still get there when possible. Their service is really why they shine. The servers are polite and competent. You'll feel like family before you go. Their menu choices are quite generous and tasty. I'm a big fan of the calamari. My husband loves their Reuben egg rolls. That's right! I said Reuben egg rolls! Enjoy!
