Carnitas La Esquinita - Chicago

The carnitas are delicious! I've dined here a few times, and the food is genuine and comes in generous portions.

We just ordered pick-up from here and it did not disappoint. I did the taco plate with the pork and it was really flavorful and filling. My husband got the steak burrito plate and also enjoyed his meal. We ordered online and then took the short walk to get there; our order was on a table ready for us to pick-up. I think this will become a regular spot for us.

The carnitas were good. Unfortunately I did not get what I paid for. I order 1lb of carnitas but they shorted me on carnitas.

The carnitas were incredibly juicy and tender. Everything deserves five stars—perfect tortillas, perfect meat, and perfect salsa! I will definitely be returning.

This is hands down the best carnitas I've tasted in the city—better than Carnitas Uruapan! The meat is super juicy, there's plenty of it, and the tortillas are excellent. I highly recommend this spot!
