Little Lamb Hot Pot - Chicago

The hot pot and side dishes were absolutely delicious! However, the service could use some improvement. Even though we were in a private room, we found ourselves constantly having to remind the staff about our orders.

This was my first experience with hotpot, and I’m completely hooked! I just wish I could find a hotpot spot closer to home. The wait was a bit long (over 45 minutes), but it was definitely worth it. We didn’t really know what we were doing at first, but once we explained that to our server, she was incredibly helpful with recommendations, tips, and explanations. It turned out to be a really fun outing for our group. Everything we tried was delicious and enjoyable. It’s a BYOB place, but there was a corking fee of about $5 (I think). I don't recall there being a fee if you brought beer. We ate a ton and I highly recommend getting both broth flavors—one spicy and one mild. The cost was very reasonable considering how much we consumed. I can see this becoming a regular stop for us whenever we visit Chicago's Chinatown!

This was my first experience with hot pot, so I can't compare it to a bad one, but I found it absolutely delicious here. If you enjoy spicy flavors, their spicy broth has a gradual heat that really builds up as you eat. The ingredients were fresh and there was plenty to choose from. I was so full afterwards that I had to take a stroll around Chinatown, which was enjoyable. However, I do think it's a bit on the pricey side.

Pretty good food and decent service. Like the buffet options and mix your own sauces. Too long a wait though; over 45 minutes before seated.

I was pleasantly surprised on how affordable their all you can eat hot pot was and that it wasn't crowded compared to Little Mongolian Sheep. The service was great and attentive, the portions were decent. They have a side bar where you can get unlimitedmini dishes of sauces and stuff to go with your hot pot but they do cost extra (around $1-2 each? .
