Luke's Italian Beef - Chicago

One surprising aspect of Luke's was that our order was ready before we even sat down. Although it wasn't very busy, I must commend their surprisingly quick service. The Chicago dog was fantastic! I also ordered the beef sandwich with mozzarella and sweet peppers. If you choose the beef sandwich, you absolutely have to get the cheese sauce on the side; I only realized that halfway through my sandwich. A heads up: the beef made the bread soggy quite quickly. If you’re not a fan of soggy bread, you might want to steer clear of that sandwich. It didn’t bother me too much, though, and I really enjoyed it!

Luke's Italian Beef is a charming and laid-back spot that offers incredibly delicious food. Make sure to arrive with an appetite; the famous Italian beef sandwich I had is quite hearty. It’s so tasty that you won’t want to leave a single bite on your plate. The staff were friendly and provided excellent recommendations. It's the ideal place to grab a bite after visiting the Willis (formerly Sears) Tower, especially for tourists. Be sure not to miss this gem!

Place was unbelievably solid and the chicago style dog was also fantastic. The decor really does it for me and I only wish the chairs werent so wobbly as i felt they were going to break at any point.

Cool little stop for a great, quick lunch. Service is fast and prices are great, I got the combo sandwich with homemade sausage beef, it was delicious.
