Whether they get the truthahn pastrami the regular pastrami the crimped bark meat the roast meat the huh, they can simply not lose ever with anything they order from this place. I can't stand it, you have to be here for a lifetime if you've never been. this is one of the best restaurants in the Chicago region!
Lucky find on drive although chicago, only from expressway. the history of chicago everywhere. I had an open mine and got that stuff because I love the look on it. I do the same on the meat market. they will not make their mine until they see the fall. the prices were fair to eat.
Chicago must. Also a hidden local gem. They do have free parking lot in pack real big! Food is great, prices are a bit higher … but meat is now higher , so that makes sense. Staff is VERY friendly, you would think an old joint like this is “no nonsense” but very warm and welcoming even to newbies.
Wow! Great food, exceptional selection, quintessential Jewish fare, amazing service, beyond clean! Just s great experience and worth all 7,700 steps from downtown!! A MUST try!!!!!!
I love a good Jewish deli. Manny's is a Chicago classic. You can always spot a guy who's getting paid to sit idling in a truck 47.5 hours a week, and sometimes spot the guy who's paying him. If you have to look at reviews for Manny's, you're not supposed to be there. You should have been taken there by your boss, who was taken there by his boss, who was taken there by his (as in, fully owned) alderman. That said, with the pandemic slow-down, food quality has suffered a bit. Nothing as fresh as it used to be, nobody piling just a little extra pastrami onto your sandwich while giving you a wink and a smile.
