Contribuisci feedbackI absolutely love the sushi here, but they really need to clean their sticky floors. A good mopping is definitely in order! — Benny A.
This is, without a doubt, my favorite restaurant of all time, and I've been enjoying it my whole life. The standout dishes include Dynamite Shrimp, Teriyaki Chicken, Roberto Special Maki, and Combination C. The tempura, miso soup, and salad are also fantastic. The service is top-notch, and they greet you with warm towels when you first arrive. The ambiance is wonderful and truly captures an authentic Japanese atmosphere, especially the ryokan-style rooms, which are impressive.
I went to the restaurant with my family. The food was decent, but the service was only average. They never asked if we wanted refills for our drinks, which were listed as Coke on the menu but were clearly a generic cola. We noticed that the prices were the same as Coke, though. Be cautious when the bill arrives; your order is recorded on an old-fashioned check that is hard to read. The final item on the bill includes a mandatory 20% tip added to the taxable amount, regardless of the size of the party—there were five of us, but the table nearby had just two. When paying with a card, the receipt from the card machine also has a section for a tip. If you’re not paying attention, you could end up unintentionally tipping twice. These practices seem quite shady.
My wife I went out to Mindori a Japanese Restaurant for Valentines Day. Midori is a very nice restaurant on Bryn Mawr w/beautiful Japanese decor. My friend told me about this place years ago but this was first opportunity for use to eat there. A We both ordered the Bento Boxs that came w/a salad w/a delicious ginger onion pureed in a vinaigrette. There was a choice of salmon, mackeral or Chicken. We both chose the salmon. In addition it came w/miso soup, 3 pieces of Marguro/Tuna, shredded daikon, 2 pieces of red snapper, spinach w/sometype of sauce on top w/sesme seeds a rice ball the most perfectly cooked tempura w/a light fluffy batter perfectly cooked. The tempura came w/sweet potato, green beans, shredded carrots (like crispy hash browns) a large beautifully cooke shrimp cooked to perfection w/a light crispy batter
Solid Japanese food. Even the lower rated review(s) say the value is good for what it is. I 'd rate the food quite higher for the . Definitely worth a try. Noticed some of the other low rated reviews are complaining about how they 're not cooked the way they want. I don 't think Asian restaurants really do that kind of thing. I 've never noticed it in the plenty of Asian restaurants I 've been to. ... regardless, definitely would make this one of my go to 's .
