New Great Wall Bbq - Chicago

I went in with my family and had to get up and leave because no one took my order. I had sat down and it took the woman around 5 minutes to bring me the menu. Then she took approximately 8 minutes to ask if we were ready. Once I started telling her what I wanted to eat, she left and gave me a pen. I guess customers have to check the menu items one wants. I waited around 10 minutes for her to finally pick up my menu but she refused to. She would clean the nearby tables but wouldn’t acknowledge me and my family. It’s ridiculous. Terrible service.

Just don't. the reviews are so all over the place, it's a red flag, lol. i ordered roasted duck and some other items for family, my order was wrong and it all tasted... not fresh. sad to say i've had frozen food that tasted better. complete waste. i wasn't expecting michelin but i was surprised i was better off going to a fast food chain and spending a fraction of what was spent here. and all the food was cold! not like i ordered ahead and arrived late, just walked in and grabbed to go.

I should have walked away when they said white people don 't normally eat here . But the place was empty on a Saturday night. Do not eat here, the bad reviews aren 't kidding. I was given the wrong order of sad food. The roasted duck skin was rubbery and cold. The pork was the wrong type even after they double checked with me. The chive dumplings were mostly shrimp when it didn 't mention meat. $7 for 3 ripped reheated dumpling is high even for Chicago. Food is cold. and the manager demands tips. lol. for “providing services” do your job.

Over price place. Food tastes ok. Very small portions.
