Paulie Gee's Logan Square - Chicago

One of the few things that I initially missed when I went vegan was the pizza experience. That cherished tradition of gathering with family and friends for a pizza and beer was at first a little hard to replicate. Sure, my girlfriend and I found a place here and there that was ok, and we could always put together some sort of cheeseless pie, but it was never quite the same. Enter Paulie Gee 's! With a wood burning oven, a hip Logan Square location, and most importantly, eight different types of vegan pizzas, we 're back in business!!! Featuring dollops of cashew ricotta, my pie of choice is the 'In Ricotta Da Vegan. ' They take a lot of care in what they do at Paulie Gee 's and each of my visits has been outstanding!!! It should also be noted that they have amazing vegan desserts, and that all of my non-vegan friends find their traditional pizzas to be of the highest order.

The Logan squares are amaze-balls! Every pizza I've eaten there has been awesome, but those squares...I dream of the squares!! Also, any pizza with Mikes Hot Honey is a MUST! Excellent mix of sweet and spicy. If you want boring pizza, go somewhere else because you won't find boring here! Fun beer, wine and rotating cocktail menu too.

Can't wait to go back again! The food, ambiance, drink menu (the spicy margarita is my fav! , and of course, the pizza, is perfect! I highly recommend the Logan Squares! The Herbivore is delicious!

I cannot say enough about this place. It's got fantastic ambiance, the servers are helpful and courteous, the pizza is unbelievably good (get the Hellboy! and you can watch the whole process of preparing your food through the glass into the kitchen! We've been in twice now and fully expect to visit many more times in the future. Dennis is the best wood-fire pizza cook ever!!! :
