Pizza Hut - Chicago

Always a fan of pizza hat. pick up a large 1 topping pizza for $11, and my son loves the mild buffalo wing, great for a lunch in the middle, a bit fast on the day of humps again and again, for these difficult weeks.

The staff at this restaurant is extremely professional and friendly! The wait time for a table was minimal and the location is clean inside and out. I would highly recommend dining here.

I placed my order online and within 5 minutes I received a call from Alberto, informing me that they needed a minimum of 30 minutes to prepare the order and that payment with a credit card was required. I had cash to pay for the order upon pickup, so I found it strange that there was no mention of this option online. Alberto then explained that it was because I was a new customer. This annoyed me, and I questioned why it was necessary to have ordered before. He confirmed the order would be ready in 10 minutes. However, he insisted that they would not start the order unless payment was made first, which seemed unnecessary. He then muttered something in Spanish to his coworkers, who suggested hanging up the phone and canceling the order because I was being difficult. I responded in Spanish, stating that I did not understand what was being said. I requested to speak to the manager, who also seemed upset and accused me of not letting her talk. The whole situation made me feel terrible, as if I had done something wrong by asking to pay upon pickup. Eventually, I decided to order my pizza from another place online, where they were more understanding and accommodating. There was no need for me to pay upfront, as I could have paid upon arrival at the restaurant.
