Punch House - Chicago

As for drinks, the selection is okay. I’ve had a hard time finding a favorite, even before the pandemic. However, I did have one clear favorite: The Zombie. Yes, I’m that person who can’t stop mentioning it. It was genuinely good! I’m not sure why it was removed from the menu, but it would have been nice to have some communication about that. Punch House used to be my go-to spot in the neighborhood, but now it feels a bit "meh." That said, the vibe is still cool and chill, whether you’re flying solo or with friends. I often visited by myself. The music varies depending on the night, with different themes and genres. There’s definitely room for improvement at Punch House, but for now, it is what it is—a bar with decent punch drinks that are reasonably strong. If you want to know how strong their punches used to be for $11, I suggest you check out the Pomegranate Margarita at Ludlow’s Liquors on the north side. You’re welcome!

We had a wonderful time during our visit. It was a delightful surprise before our show upstairs. The food was excellent, and you don't have to order a full punch bowl; there are plenty of other options available.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and went to the bar downstairs for drinks. The atmosphere was fantastic. What truly impressed me and earned this place a 5-star rating was the service. While my friends and I were seated at the bar, I accidentally spilled my drink and shattered the glass. One of the staff members quickly made me a new drink without a second thought and reassured me by saying, "It happens all the time." I appreciated this, especially since I've had experiences at other places where the staff can be quite strict and unfriendly. The staff here were amazing—kind and respectful.

I went there to hangout for drinks before a show. I love the atmosphere; the music isn't to loud and plenty of seating for large groups (70s lounge style) quick bartenders and all around great vibe.

Favorite Pilsen spot. But you didn't hear it from me. And we attended lolla, so I was apprehensive if they'd even let ya Boi in with my 3 companions. they did. And facilitated a great time. Hats off. Tip your bartenders minimum 30 percent. Trustme. Just do it. I pray my companions did. I finally danced but was a little tired. And the dj.... oof. Soulection worthy.
