Qortoba Cafe - Chicago

This place is a gem just down the street from my apartment. I had the bacon, egg, cheese with the homemade hash brown. Both were delicious. For dessert, you can’t go wrong with the olive oil cake slice. Go to this cute place for Saturday or Sunday breakfast/brunch.

Really good breakfast sandwich with Slagel sausage which is a local farm hormone free. The yogurt bowl was also really delicious!

I normally love Doma! The breakfast coffee is wonderful. Eggs are some of the best in the city every drink I have had is top tier. But this last time I came in for lunch I was greatly dissatisfied. I have been on the hunt for a good, wholesome chicken noodle soup so decided to stop in try it here... it was awful. There was no chicken or noodles, it was just chicken bones, celery carrots in some broth that could only be described as warm salt water. Do yourself a favor stick to the breakfast staples make your chicken noodle soup at home.

Ambiance is lovely and trendy. Yummy pastries and drinks but my favorite is the cevapi ! Service is fast as well.

Doma is amazing!! I absolutely love how light and airy the space is. It feels very minimal but fun and Wes Anderson aesthetic. It is playful and minimal meets cozy diner cafe. Quite a few people were working there which was cool, the music would be a little loud for me, but nice to know you could come sit here and stay awhile with a book or something. The front part is nice and airy and the back portion was super cool too. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you! It came out so quick. The menu is so unique I really couldn't decide what to get because everything sounded good! I ended up with the Kata club and the butternut squash combo with the tahini slaw was AMAZING! The bread was also so fresh! My friends got the Turkey sando and the breakfast plate and we all loved everything. The coffee mugs are also so fun and unique and fit the aesthetic of the cafe. I definitely want to go back and try the breakfast sandwich and the Caesar salad! The pastries also looked unique and delicious. Cant wait to try more!
