The place is small, but it can sit comfortably a lunch crowd with a steady flow of people coming in and out. The menu includes the standards choices for soup appetizers, sashimi, nigiri and rolls, but it also includes several specialty rolls with fun and delicious combinations. If you like mango, I would recommend the mango California roll or the mango shrimp tempura roll. There are also a variety of larger plates if you are looking for a heavier meal. The servers are friendly, attentive and willing to provide suggestions. They are able to cover the all the tables consistently even during the busy lunch time.
A lovely little sushi spot. Came in for a quick lunch and ordered some gyoza and a volcano roll. The gyoza was so good. I liked how it wasn't overly doughy and perfectly cook with the balance of the dipping sauce. The tiger roll was all that I could have ever wanted and more. So very fresh and simply presented. I really enjoyed how very attentive the staff is. The food pricing is super affordable for the downtown area. The service was excellent and I was thoroughly pleased with the meal I had, be sure to return again to explore the menu.
Overall, alright. I got this delivered and ordered 3 rolls: salmon avocado, angel, and under control. Even though it was fine, I would probably not order again. Angel roll was a bit too sweet and yet the crab needed more (different) sauce, under control I would have preferred the shrimp inside and the spicy tuna outside, and the salmon avocado... something was just off about the salmon. It wasn't very tender and just a big block so hard to bite. Avocado could have been riper.
Nice touch with the light soy but not impressed with the cutting skills considering it is a bowl of chirashi. Simply slice it thinner and broader and not chunky block.Disappointing as there are other decent options at this price point.
