Sumi Japanese - Chicago

The sashimi, maki, and hibachi were outstanding (the scallops were cooked to perfection). The mochi ice cream was also quite delicious. Although the service was a bit slow, the incredible food made up for it. The seating is somewhat limited, but it wasn’t crowded, possibly because we arrived before the dinner rush. I would definitely return.

Ordered two ramens for delivery. Average price for ramen in the city. Was expecting something different though ????. The pork belly was tough, and when I went to bite one end, my teeth didn't bite through all the way. It was a disappointment since the pork belly is a delicacy I looks forward to when I eat ramen. Maybe they cook it differently here, perhaps cooked on a pan. The marinated egg was OK, a little too much on the salty side for me. My partner ate his whole ramen though, so maybe there is a crowd for this type out there?

Simply fantastic! I have no complaints at all! My fried lobster roll was incredible! I will definitely be coming back!
