Tallboy Taco - Chicago

The food at this restaurant is delicious and flavorful. I tried the chicken chimichanga, birria taco in lettuce, and the asada taco. All were very good, but my favorite was the chicken. The beans and rice are also excellent, and don't require any additional sauce or condiments. During happy hour, you can get 3 margaritas for $5. The service was attentive and quick from the moment I walked in.

Well done all around. Surprisingly fresh and affordable food. Had a burrito bowl and loaded quesadilla. Team was happy to check on allergens. Hit the spot.

I really wanted to like this place, first off clearly the staff was overwhelmed by a (to be fair very rude seeming) large group. We were told we would be brought water but it never came, we never got looked at. The staff spent the whole time with all the corner tables while we never got a single glance. Not even enough to flag someone down. The tacos were okay. Most of the tacos were flavorless, basically no seasoning at all. The chips and queso were really good though.

The tacos and queso were really good, the staff was super friendly, and the decor was very cool. It was surprisingly empty but it was great! Highly recommend

The tacos were average and lacked flavor. The option to choose between a hot or mild soda was limiting, as if there wasn't enough variety in their sauces. The staff was friendly, but overall not a place I would return to.
