The outdoor dining is nice. The cochinita pibil was very tasty. served with black beans green rice, from cilantro blend. My friend enjoyed the enchiladas size, too. Service is good and not overly attentive.
I've always passed in front of this place and the smell coming out of it has always been incredible, so I have it a try. It's good food. The lentils soup was delicious. Same for the tacos. My arrachera steak was fine, but in some spots it was extremely salty. What was not good was the service. They were kind enough to sit us outside, but then they forgot about us. I had to go inside and ask somebody to come take our order. Never provided salt, pepper or hot sauce, so I had to grab some from a table of some people that left before we arrived. Not sure what happened since there were about 4 tables busy in total. I found it a little bit pricey too, but maybe it was because of the service quality which provided a not so good experience.
I stopped in after work today and I have to say I?m really impressed. It?s pretty rare that service is so good that I feel compelled to leave a review. The food was tasty and the service was great. Jose seemed to have such a friendly rapport with everyone at the bar. Good customer service is rare these days. I will definitely be back when I?m in the area.
Lovely outdoor seating area, good food, good service... enjoyed our dinner with friends here! We ordered Carne Asada, Chicken Fajitas, Shrimp Tacos, and the #4 Combo dinner, and everyone was happy with their meals. Especially appreciated the side street outdoor seating, instead of having tables on the busier Bryn Mawr side of the restaurant quieter and surrounded by trees and planters.
