The Kedzie Inn - Chicago

Came in Friday night, exhausted and hungry after flying on SWAL all day. This place is across the street from my son's apartment, where I am staying. I'd been in here but had never eaten, so it was with trepidation that I ordered a cheeseburger. I was very pleasantly surprised at how good it was and how reasonably priced. There was a comedy show in the other room that I went in to watch after I had eaten, but they were almost done. Good stuff, though. It's a friendly place and I feel ok as a woman coming in alone and sitting at the bar. I will definitely be back before I go back to Northern California.

Good selection of beer. Check out The Monday Night Football pop-up dinner series, too.

Loved the open mic stand up comedy on Wednesday! Some comics bombed but some ruled! A very good night overall. Kedzie special on Wed is shot of Jim Beam and a PBR for $6. What a deal ?

Great neighborhood bar. Jon is unbelievably nice. Monday night foodball is one of my favorite things in the city. But do not sleep on the pizza. It's ridiculously good!

Nice, clean bar with good decor. Great service. No beers on tap, however. I didn't have any food, so can't comment there. Seems like a nice place to visit regularly.
