Avocado salad and desserts were AMAZINGThe oysters were good too But the Redfin crudo was tiiiiinyIt was good, but just a bit pricey.
Came here with a fairly large group for brunch on a Sunday.
An incredible night at a Chicago staple. Haven’t been to the Publican in 10 years even better than I remember. Leadership: Oscar and Liz were engaging, kind and personable. Couldn’t have asked for a better NYE Experience. Thanks to the team!
Food: My mother and I went for happy hour and ordered a bottle of wine, some oysters, and the frites made with beef fat. Everything was delicious and there menu is very unique and artisanal, rI wish I had room to order more. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures. Service/Atmosphere: We sat at one of the few bar high tops, the bartender was our server and he was phenomenal, I hate I forgot his name because he deserves recognition for his great service. He knew the menu and all of the Publican products offered by their other establishments (Bakery and Deli* . He even let me sample the African Rose gin Bayab when I inquired about it. Everyone else was great too, it seems like they have a team serving style as we had several people ask if we were ok or helped us out when when needed something. Prices are mid range, definitely not cheap but also not too expensive. Our bill came out to about $60
