Contribuisci feedbackI visited this restaurant last month and was impressed by the hospitality, so I felt compelled to leave a review. The food, decor, staff, and music all felt genuine and authentic. Even though we arrived late for lunch, we were still graciously served from the lunch menu. We tried the rava masala and rava flat dosa along with a thali, both of which were crispy and delicious. The thali was exceptional with every dish being top-notch, giving us a taste of authentic Indian flavors that we had never experienced before. The idly and vada with sambar were also exactly what we were looking for, authentic and satisfying. I will definitely be returning every time I am in Devon. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to dine with their family or friends while in the area.
The staff at this restaurant are not transparent about the cost of water bottles on the bill. They conveniently forget to mention the charge and have no qualms about removing them. Additionally, there is a lack of privacy as the staff openly stare at you while you eat. This was a very disappointing experience.
This was the second Indian restaurant I visited, and unfortunately, it was worse than the first. I had higher expectations for a place in Devon, but was thoroughly disappointed. The waiter was drunk and rudely placed the menus on the table. He forgot our drinks, we had to ask for more water multiple times, and he even forgot our naan bread, which was undercooked and tasted stale. The food itself had no flavor and was not up to par with what you would expect from an Indian restaurant. The prices were high for the quality of food and service we received. Despite the terrible experience, I still left a generous tip. Another waiter kept his mask on at all times, but no one checked our vaccination status as required by the city. The bathroom was dirty and had paper towels instead of proper hand drying facilities. It was also unsettling that the rude waiter sat in the middle of the restaurant near other diners, even though there was plenty of space closer to the front. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with this restaurant on many levels and would not recommend it to others. If the food had been good, I may have overlooked the poor service, but unfortunately, that was not the case.
They have everything you can eat. can improve personal communication. the food quality was good.
Some delicious items, and some were just alright.Pongal was amazing, fresh, good consistency. Onion chili uttapam, was good but instead of chili they used jalapeno, disappointing. Mysore masala was ok, not that great. Sambar and coconut chutney were good but I missed having the tomato or ginger chutney to go with the dosas. Also got the Ras Malai, which was rubbery, so I'd avoid that.
