Full Moon Restaurant & Bar - Chicalim

After spending 42 days in India, I stayed at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff was attentive. I find it hard to believe the negative review, which I suspect may have been written by a local competitor due to the spelling errors. The food was consistently well-cooked, fresh, and beautifully presented. I particularly enjoyed the chicken Tikka and biryani dishes, which were excellent.

I would recommend this place just for the view, and nothing else. I went there with a school friend I met after 18 years. It was good to catch up at Bogmalo Beach, and feel the lovely breeze. I had a grilled sandwich. He had an omelette. There were a lot of mosquitoes, and the fans were not working.

We visited the Full Moon Restaurant in the last week of February. Rahul and his staff where really friendly. We stayed next door at the Bogmallo Beach Resort Hotel so this was handy for drinks and snacks we had King Fish here and it was really nice. We also had toasted sandwiches for snacks. Everyone returns to this bar for good food good prices and good service.

This beachside cafe is a gem. Friendly staff and good food makes Full Moon great value for money. Varied menu from snack foods to local specialties. Would recommend.

The staff are always welcoming and the food and drinks reasonably priced. Situated on the main Village Square overlooking the beach it is a great place to watch the bus loads of locals coming to the beach from the nearby towns and villages.
