Goodwood Aeroclub Cafe - Chichester

What a lovely cafe! I went here with my 82 year old mum on my day off and we both had an amazing time, my mum had cheesy chips and a cup of tea which she absolutely loved- so delicious. The staff were very pleasant and attentive and made sure that what I ordered was up to a very high quality standard and therefore this made our lunch even more pleasing. I have been to this cafe before and therefore thought it would be a perfect place to take my mum out to lunch too, we even saw a helicopter.

I’d actually rate this higher than the Aerodrome. Great service for a coffee or a more substantial snack. There is plenty of room for outside seating including over looking the circuit. Enjoy a beer and watch the cars go round. Nothing could be better.

Requested plain sandwiches Cheese and tomato Plain ham No onion Waitress said no problem. Arrived thick bread sandwiches were 3 slices with filling cut into quarters held in place with stick. Coleslaw and crisps. Unable to eat as just to thick gave up smell of onions on coleslaw awful. £20 for this with 2 teas Never again Retired couple

Only redeeming feature of this place is the location and view of the race track and airfield fro its terrace. There is no customer service, and the quality of coffee served is really poor and the food totally non descript and without merit. Why of why, are the staff so unsmiling, unfriendly and unwelcoming.

We decided to have lunch at Goodwood aerodrome cafe. Nobody welcomed us with a smile or hello. We found a nice table outside and after waiting for ten minutes I went and checked that it was table service. I was told that someone would be with us shortly but after a further 30 minutes, nobody had taken our order. We felt very disappointed as it was a special day but left hungry and thirsty. We would not return.
