The Woodmancote Pub - Chichester

I ordered the moules mariniere, which was amazing, while my husband enjoyed a delicious mushroom starter. For the main course, I had perfectly cooked lamb with lovely sides, and my husband loved the chicken schnitzel. For dessert, I had the best panna cotta I have ever tasted, and my husband enjoyed a delicious strawberries and cream cheesecake. We were extremely pleased with our meals, and everyone else's food looked just as good as we looked around at the other couples. The menu had a lovely selection, and the atmosphere was great. Congratulations to everyone for a wonderful Valentine's evening. You made our night very special...again!

The Valentine's dinner was flawless, delicious, and an incredible value. The steak was cooked perfectly and the Diane sauce was absolutely divine. Well done!

This was our first time visiting the pub. Upon arrival, we were seated in a room that was supposedly Moroccan-themed, although the peeling wallpaper gave it a run-down appearance. It seemed odd to have such decor in a pub and felt out of place. We had to ask five times for coffee, which only arrived when I had to approach the bar staff myself. The room we were in was crowded with a large, obnoxiously loud family, which did not create a pleasant atmosphere. The only positive aspect was the food, which was served in large portions. However, I ordered a steak and ale pie but received a chicken pie instead. Overall, we would not choose to come back to this establishment.

A very enjoyable Burns Night with delicious food and hard working staff! I am a regular customer and always enjoy the cosy atmosphere and friendly staff.

Lovely cosy pub,log fire burning. Had an English breakfast which was great, really hot and cooked to perfection. Friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.
