Helengrace Homemade Pastries - Chico

What a great place. We had to get the cannoli cream pie and it did not disappoint. Had two slices before bed. The crust was very good and the entire pie was very balanced. The shop is tucked away behind a glass shop. Jen was great and I was glad to finally meet her. Will be visiting again.

Oridered a cake for a special event 2 weeks ahead of time. Paid and made a time to pick up before the party. Picked it up like we had discussed and it was never made. No apologies or anything. Simply said I will work on your refund.It was extremely upsetting and disappointing.

Finally made it to Helen Grace homemade pastries and not only did it not disappoint, it exceeded expectations!Got a banana cream pie (10/10) more dense than I am accustomed to, but not in a bad way. Great balance of sweetness. Banana flavor is great and not synthetic.Bonus- got a cookie for my toddler and my husband and I snagged a piece- also 10/10. My husband says it’s the best cookie he has ever had.Shout out to the car spoons they supplied too?

Best pies I've tasted. Not too sweet but also doesn't lack flavor.
