The Black Kettle - Chico

Walked up to The Black Kettle food truck at Secret Trail, was interested in ordering the black bean avocado chipotle burger. I have just started eating a plant based diet and asked if their chipotle sauce was vegan, in fact it was (Chipotle Bitchin' Sauce). After learning about my diet she offered me an option of vegan cheese as well. I was so excited. I'm new at this diet and had a few experiences ordering food while out and this was the best experience I've had hands down. She is so thoughtful to think about the accommodations of other diets! The food was insaaaaanely delicious. So much flavor. You can tell the black bean patty is made from scratch. They made sure to put all the fixings on the burger and nice sized side of chips. This place is such a huge encouragement for me and keeping my diet. Thank you so much to this place!!!! Will always be back. *No photo because I ate it in 10 seconds.

The Black Kettle was so good! There veggie melt was to die for! Definitely recommend! 10/10

I have never had a salmon salad as good as the one I tried in Chico! The blend of flavors and textures was excellent. The pastrami melt is also top-notch and the best in town. I really enjoy this food truck, especially when it's at Secret Trail!

This is the best food I've ever had from a food truck. I am eager to try every item on the menu. It's even better than most restaurants.
