The pot stickers are unquestionably the highlight of the menu. I absolutely love the Kung Pao chicken—it's incredibly tender and the sauce is so delicious, it feels like a taste of heaven. The broccoli beef is exceptional as well, and the black bean fat noodles with chicken are impressive too. So, give Joe a chance, make a new friend, and try to overlook the clutter. This place is best suited for take-out. Place your order in person, chat with Joe, and then head over to Safeway next door to grab some beer while your meal is being prepared.

The restaurants may appear a bit messy, but they are always clean, including the kitchen, which I’ve had the chance to see. The food is the reason I've kept coming back for eight years. It's not your average Chinese takeout—it's more authentic than the typical westernized versions, which might explain some of the negative reviews since it doesn't always align with American expectations. In my opinion, it's the best Chinese food in Chico. If you’re someone who only enjoys places like Panda Express, then this isn’t for you. However, if you’re searching for a genuine cultural dining experience, this is the place to visit.
