Rouge Burger Bar - Chicoutimi

Awesome food! We ordered online (for pick up). There was a combo where you would get 2 classic burgers with 2 local beers. It was just the perfect combination. I obviously haven't tried every burger in town, but in my experience, it was the best burger I ate in Chicoutimi and easily one of the best burgers I ate in a while. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our dinner last Friday, it was Poutine Week here and we had a delicious appetizer with the signature Poutine: homemade BBQ sauce, local cheese, locally raised pork sausage, over crispy fries, all delicious. Half-proportion poutine for a starter is just good. The fried Calamaris were also on it, crispy and delicate homemade Mayo with it, yeah? The burgers are plentiful, the choice between a variety of meat, and wild games. Would go back, the service was great, from the front door to the check, friendly and fast, within an hour everything was done and eaten. Diocese red atmosphere, picturesque and cozy.

Delicious beef tartar, the best I’ve had in the area. The restaurant can be difficult to find, it’s in the basement below Hotel Chicoutimi but the location is not obvious from the street. Only open for dinner, go early so you’re guaranteed to get a seat. It has a casual but nice atmosphere, except for the sports on TVs everywhere making it a steakhouse/sports bar. A good place to go on a date.
