I do not normally rate restaurants at my hometown. But "La Cocineria" it's so good, I will make an exception. The menu is perfectly balanced, and anyone can find something of its' taste. And everything is delicious! The balsamic filet is one of the best I have ever tried! The same with the filet aguachile, or the crust salmon. They also have a nice wine list, and Oscar, the chef, is always around to make a great suggestion o fix a plate for you. This is the best restaurant in Chihuahua.
After wondering the city for a couple of hours, I asked a friend what she would recommend that we try out in the city. She immediately said we had to visit this place - we did. The restaurant is famed for mixed drinks and cocktails with an assortment of liquor that will probably satisfy any traveler. The menu is short and to the point, offering a whole spectrum of succulent options that will spark cravings - seafood, meat, poultry, veggies, you name it. Not only is the food and flavors designed to close your eyes and savor the bite you just took, but it is artistically crafted on your plate to create an aesthetically pleasing image. **There is a bar in the middle of the plaza were this restaurant is located.
This restaurant is located at a walking distance from the Hampton Inn and across the street from the Holliday Inn (Not easy to cross the Periferico de La Juventud better use a CAB even being close). It is located in a plaza with several restaurants. Food is good but you will have to order whatever you want to coplement as an extra, if you are not very hungry it might be an option. They have a second floor with seating available, but it is not a big restaurant, if you have a group above 10 people I wold not recommend comming here. For a one to one business meeting it is a good option because it is quiet and you may have a undisturbed conversation.
I travele to Chihuahua a lot and this is the one place I make sure I visit every trip. The menu is not extensive but what they have is excellent. They have a salad with goat cheese and salmon that is great - makes it hard for me to branch out and try different things here.
