Having a Starbucks in the parking lot is nice, isn't it? It's a great reward after working hard. Of course, cafes at convenience stores are good too, but there's something different about the luxury of Starbucks. As far as I know, there are only two Starbucks in parking lots in Kyushu. There are quite a few in Honshu, but maybe the tolls for cars are different in Kyushu. I wish there was another one between Kumamoto and Kitakyushu. If I go far, I will definitely stop by. The store seems to be under renovation, as it was closed after I took this picture. I hope the construction will be finished soon so they can start their gorgeous operations. A Starbucks in the desired location. That would be great.

This was my first time using this Starbucks location. Even wheelchair users can order takeout here, as it is located in a parking lot off the highway and does not have indoor seating. However, there is outdoor seating available on the terrace. I visited early in the morning and was able to order without waiting in line. While I cannot speak for how busy it gets during peak times, the space is compact but feels open and stylish, typical of Starbucks. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service as always.

The restaurant reopened on April 28th! It's so convenient to order from your mobile and avoid waiting in line.
