We came to find the building locked and empty. We tried to call this day and the next, but got no answer. We also sent an email and did not receive an answer. Your website allowed us to make a reservation, and also showed that every Sunday this brunch is available, but they were closed.
They were closed without notice. There should have been something on the website.
It wasn't good from the beginning. Apparently they crossed or took too many walks. We had a reservation for 1:15 and sat at a table at 1:45. Then waited 10 minutes to get a drink order. When we finally came to the buffet, there were only two plates, so we had to wait. Then several foods were made and did not refill. Was carved pork lobe (which was like rubber) at the carving station that you would think they would serve the main rib on mother's day, and it was 34.99 a person. The chicken marsala was so over boiled it had no taste. When we finally came to dessert, there were some cookies, peach-cobbler and ice cream. They ran out and didn't fill the other stuff. Our waitress was very good and there were some foods that were good, but only very disappointed that we chose this restaurant to take our mothers.
We arrived at our reservation time and we said there were no high chairs and we would have to wait until one is available. After 35 minutes we sat, but still no high chair. When other guests started getting food while we could, as things seemed to run low, we checked the buffet. There were no plates to find and several people wait. There was no hope for an omelet, as he had commands and without plates to put them on and the majority of chafing dishes were empty. The carving station was not named, and as far as the advertised menu I saw no similarity to what was actually available. The overall feeling I got was that Mother's Day was a special event, and they had really advertised it and were totally overwhelmed with the answer. In the time we left (without eating so that I do not testify to the quality of food, only lack of) the hall was tamed with people waiting. If they want to do this in the future, they must act together and be prepared for the answer. Or just a lot less reservations. If we don't have two restless hungry children, we might have stopped and waited to see what they would do, but they had waited as long as they could. It was hard for this buffet to be worth the money.
The room, set up and atmosphere was great however the food was not worth the price. I would not make reservations for my family's special occasion again.
