The food was good. I don’t really like the dinning room set up but enjoy the history of the old train station. The restroom is a weird room with 2 toilets but no stalls in too large of a room. The bar is nice.
Big improvement from the other times I have eaten there in the past. Food and service were both 1000% better!! Had a longish wait on our food, BUT they were super busy with VERY few staff, so definitely not knocking them for that!!
This evening when my fiance and I dined in we had a very nice waitress who came over quite often. She came over to ask if we wanted dessert twice, once just after she had dropped off our dinners and we had only taken a couple bites. She came over so many times to ask how our food was and if we wanted refills; we were only in there around 30 minutes...most places hardly check on you at all so it wasn 't awful. Unfortunately my fiancé 's burnt ends had no flavor. It 's just our humble opinion that you shouldn 't have to drown your bbq in sauce for flavor. The cole slaw serving was extremely small for almost $3 dollars. Remember the old small black containers you would put your rolls of film into before taking in to get developed; the serving size is a bit bigger than those containers. I wish I had taken a picture. I liked that they had a container of sanatizer on each table. However both booths we wanted to sit at the tables and seats were visibly dirty though when we walked in and sat down there was noone in the restaurant area. Other than this Wabash bbq is a decent place to eat.
Lunch was wonderful! Food arrived quickly and hot and delicious! Melissa was an awesome server! Friendly atmosphere and great prices. We will be back!
