We needed a convenient place to meet to have lunch prior to them continuing on to the Okanagan. Since we all, including the children, enjoy sushi, we decided to try Bluefin. Although our expectations were not really that high, we decided to give it a try. WOW !!! Were we pleasantly surprised. I tend to have a pretty voracious appetite, which does not usually go over too well at All-You-Can-Eat sushi restaurants (which is why we had, essentially, stopped going to them). Our waitress enthusiastically and willingly kept as much of anything that we chose to order coming without delay, without groaning and grimacing about it. The quality, portion size, and freshness of the Nigiri and Sashimi was certainly equal to or exceeded that which we had eaten elsewhere, including that at some of the higher rated sushi restaurants in the greater Vancouver area (and collectively, we have sampled a lot). Food & service - excellent !(As an aside, we all left and went outside to say our 'goodbyes'). Several minutes later, as two of us stood outside talking, we decided to go back inside to continue our conversation as we had about 1 - 1/2 hrs. to kill). We sat at a smaller table and the waitress came to ask us if she could bring us something else. We each had some green tea. Without either of us thinking, we got up to leave to continue on with our day. Neither of us had remembered to pay for the green tea. I went back to the restaurant about 2 hrs. later and apologized to the waitress for inadvertently leaving without paying (the 2nd time - we did pay the 1st time). The congenial waitress smiled and said that she had not intended to charge us and would take no money for our 2nd visit. Good P.R.? Yessiree. And Good Business? Likewise. Although I very rarely submit reviews, did feel compelled to give these folks the recognition that they most certainly have earned. With honours !! We will all be back. Thank you Bluefin !!!
For an all you can eat place this was tasty. Haven't been here in a year or so and I think nearby competition has made Bluefin up its game. Some new menu items like a crispy yam and beef roll. Good value
I met a friend for lunch and the service was quick, the food fresh and tasty and the price unbeatable at $15?for all you can eat. The only complaint I have is that the menu is limited compared to the all you can eat dinner menu.
We really enjoyed the service and presentation It was clean and a new order form arrived without prompting.
I went in for the All You Can EatThe most subpar sushi I've ever had._First off, im pretty sure they made everything the day before.
