I always love when I can find an all vegan spot and this one felt unique because their menu explicitly lists no shallots, onions, green onions or garlic which is fantastic for people who have gut issues or other allergies. I ordered the Szechuan pork and green beans. The pork was not as spicy as I would like, but had a decent amount of dried chilis. The green beans were crisp and absolutely delicious. Definitely check this place out. The wait staff was attentive and answered all my questions.
I love that everything here is vegan. This is a great way for people to try different chinese dishes they might have not tried before, or can't eat due to dietary restrictions. I (not vegan came here with my vegan friend. We ordered rice, the house tea, claypot eggplant tofu, and orange chicken (she hadn't had orange chicken in a while, so this was tempting! . The orange chicken was delicious. Super flavorful and had a kick. The claypot eggplant tofu was very braised. You got that claypot flavor along with other subtle flavors. However, I think this dish could have benefited from some aromatics like garlic and ginger (which the restaurant does not use . I've had better.
I loved the food here. I'm transitioning for vegan and this is a place with a huge menu to try something new. When something is crunchy it is just that! Textures are great I recommend general Tsao so you can try the 3 Meats . The lighting is soft when siting and the music is soft. Great place to be able to have a conversation over dinner if needed.
Hubby and I have been wanting to visit this restaurant for some time and were excited to finally being able to make a visit. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I liked how the restaurant is clearly advertised as having vegan cuisine. Upon entering the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by employee Mikayla and then directed to sit wherever we wanted inside the restaurant. We were surprised when we discovered that they have no printed copies of the menu and that to view the menu, you need to scan a QR code that is on the business card at each table. After looking at all the menu options available, we ordered drinks first which was a Diet Coke for me and a iced passion fruit green tea for hubby. For our meal, we order cheese wontons as an appetizer, veggie meat pancakes for me, veggie meat stuffed steamed buns for hubby and chicken fried rice for us to share. Our food arrived quickly and we were delighted by all of the hot, delicious, flavorful food we received. The cheese wontons were perfectly balanced between being crispy yet soft where the cream cheese was added. Since I've never had veggie meat pancakes before, I was wondering what it's tasted like and it was exactly as advertised, pan fried layered dough stuffed with ground meat. I was in awe of how thin the chefs made the pancake as well as the alternating layers of dough to ground meat. Hubby loved the veggie meat stuffed steamed buns are said he like the contrast of soft buns to well seasoned ground veggie meat inside the bun. The chicken fried rice was well seasoned and we liked that the chefs made the rice so that we tasted vegan chicken in every forkful of the dish. Overall, this was a great dining experience due to friendly and attentive staff as well as delicious, flavorful food with generous portion sizes. We'll definitely be visiting this restaurant again in the future!
My mom and I came here on a whim for dinner and we both loved it! Keep in mind, we are both not vegan : We ordered the orange chicken, beef broccoli, and eggplant with basil. 3 entrees was WAY more than enough for us two, but we wanted to try a little bit of everything. They were all really good, with our favorite being the eggplant with basil! I will say that all the dishes did have similar flavors though...almost like they used the same base (like oyster sauce or something . Given that we had ordered all different entrees, I would have thought that the flavor profile would be different too. The portions were also a bit smaller than I had expected considering the price (and also it being Chinese food even though it's vegan . Plus, rice is an additional $1-2. Our total came out to about $60. Plenty of parking. Service was great. Our server was super patient with us and gave great recommendations for it being our first time here :
