It's such a pity that this restaurant has closed down. I absolutely loved their Fried Chicken dinner, and the Ribeye was fantastic as well. The homemade Thousand Island dressing was a real highlight. What a loss!

The Spunky Steer is a hidden gem situated in a shopping mall, nestled between a paint shop and a dollar store. While the steakhouse lacks windows, you won’t mind once you walk through the door. Although it may appear small, there's plenty of seating available. The menu is straightforward; while they offer options like fish tacos and chicken burgers, the main focus is on steak. The food is served hot, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is welcoming. If you're looking for a simple and genuine steak experience, this place is an excellent choice. Just a heads up: if you're dining with a large group (8 or more), expect a longer wait to be served. This isn't a complaint, just something to keep in mind.

My wife and I both ordered the country fried steak, accompanied by a salad and baked potato. While her meal was slightly on the cooler side when it arrived, the staff were quick to take it back and corrected the issue. The manager came by to check on us, and he was very friendly, just like our waitress. Despite the restaurant being packed, we were seated within five minutes and received prompt service. We’re really glad they’re back open after a long shutdown.
