This was a fun experience, if maybe a little over hypedThe restaurant is very large inside, and has almost as many outside tables as inside.
If you like Din Sum and you're in Sydney, you'll probably come across Din Tai FungIt's in a good location and the indoor/outdoor space is nice.
Din Tai Fung requires no introduction, it is a household name worldwide renowned for its mouth-watering soup dumplings, aka Xiao Long Bao. But Din Tai Fung is so much more than just a dumpling restaurant. . Recently the restaurant launched a Christmas Feast banquet menu at per person, it was indeed a tasteful feast with whopping courses, starting from five types of dumplings and finishing with a mango dessert. It featured the signature pork dumpling, pan fried pot stickers, as well something a bit more decadent – black truffle and pork dumplings. This is truly the place to be for dumplings lovers.
Nothing special and not that tasty. Compared to places in the area this is over priced and average. Not a huge fan at all. Better to go near by to China Town and get some real dumplings.
