For Italians, food isn’t just nourishment, it is life! It’s the most searched cuisine on Google here in Sydney and the most requested and imitated food around the world. In spite of divergence in cooking styles or interpretations from region to region, there is a deep unifying connection Italians have with what they eat. From the extensive knowledge of ingredients used, to the meticulous planning in preparation, at Enzo’s, it’s the connection to his family every diner gets with every meal that is served to your table.
We visited Enzo's on a Wednesday night. The restaurant was half full but still buzzing with good energy. We ordered the beef cheeks and the garlic prawn pizza. The service was quick with the pizza arriving first. The base was crisp with a light and fluffy texture. The beef cheeks were amazing!!! So tender and gelatinous absolutely divine and I will be coming back for more. We then went onto the Tiramisu for dessert and we weren't disappointed there either. I would actually give Enzo's 4.5 stars.
The owners here have created a chain but have not let the quality of food nor homely feel be lost along the way. The staff have been trained by the owner himself, and trained up to run the other stores. They definitely put on an amazing spread and feast for us, with wine seafood, pizzas and more.
I love that this is a family owned and run business that has managed to expand, yet keep it all family run. <br/ Walking into Enzo's, I am immediately welcomed by the staff. The service is friendly and accomodating. <br/ <br/ All of the food is made in house using recipes that have been passed down through the generations. It feels like good quality home cooking and you get plenty for your money as the servings are quite generous. <br/ <br/ I went on the invite of @foodbloggeraustralia and was treated to an amazing spread of grilled seafood, pizza, pasta, an epic seafood risotto and wound it all up with sticky date pudding, panna cotta and nutella crepes.<br/ <br/ The pizza was really good, with a soft yet crusty base with fresh prawns and cherry tomatoes. The seafood was all divine! <br/ <br/ I will definitely bring a big group of people to eat, drink and be merry next time.
