I enjoy the variety on the menu at this restaurant and believe they have a lot of options available. Despite not being very hungry, I decided to try the corn on the cob.
The experience got off to a rough start as we walked into the restaurant to find loud dance music playing, seemingly meant more for the staff than for the customers.
I have been looking forward to coming here for months as I am a big fan of american cuisine and ribs are my favourite. From the beginning the experience was poor and disappointing.Firstly as my partner and I walked in, we were looked down upon by the rude black haired girl behind the bar as well as the guy who both turned their backs to us and continued to converse and ignore us. Luckily a lovely waitress walked up and seated us. She had a much more pleasant attitude. I ordered the barbeque riblets with chips and salad. It arrived within 15 minutes. It was honestly the worst ribs I have ever eaten. The marinade was just thrown on - you could tell and they weren't tender. The salad was a disgrace - how can you stuff up a salad?! The tomatoes were old and just mush and no seasoning whatsover. Both my chips and partner's were still raw inside. On top of this we had to put up with that rude girl behind the bar eyeballing us the whole time! After our food was finally cleared, we waited a further 20 minutes for our dessert that was ordered at the beginning but never arrived. There were only 2 other tables at the diner too and it was before 5pm. We asked another waitress (blonde with glasses) who was so lovely, if we could just cancel our dessert, pay and leave as we had been waiting. She was so apologetic - she told us that nobody told her we had dessert or written it down. Appauling communication and disgusting food to match. I have no idea what kind of person has clowns running their newish business and into the ground.
This restaurants is generally over priced but has a good vibe. The only reason we go there is for the Giant Parma and pot ( $20 ) on Wednesday night. It is so big we only order one and ask to share it and still there is enough to take home for lunch the next day. Most other meals are around the $40 mark but they are huge.
