The martinis were a little weak and the glasses were not filled up enough (it was like only getting 4 martinis for the price of 5), but in previous visits, this was not a problem, so this might have been an isolated incident.
The ambient temperature of the restaurant was a bit cold, but the meal, service, and reception were very good.
The mussels and steaks were great and were also a great value.
Stopped in to meet some friends. Nice big restaurant with entrances on the street side and from the parking lot in the back. We ordered for the first time 20 chicken wings at 20.50, while I did ask them to be well done with NO sauce, they in fact were well done almost the way I like them just a bit oily. What really bothered me was that they were NOT chicken wings, they were baby chicks, the smallest being a bit more than an inch and a half and not a one was over 2 inch’s. Even the waitress and another staff member agreed. While I did not have the chicken tenders at this location, at the DDO and Kirkland locations they are generously large and well cooked. We also had the spinach and cheese dip which we had to send back to reheat, they ended up being fine and the tortilla chips were very good. Finally we had a french onion soup which would have been a lot better had they NOT doubled the amount of bread supporting the nicely gratinée’d cheese which left little room for the actual onion soup. My friends had the new special at 24 a 6oz sirloin steak with 3 shrimps and another 2 friends substituted the steak for 10oz of ribs. They all enjoyed their meals. I didn’t order any more mains cause I felt short changed on the chick wings.
