I have visited many veggie restaurants in china, and this could be one of the best! economical, simple and very elegant interieur with view of the yangtze. large service, watermelon and water at the arrival and very attentive during the meal. I ordered three dishes, with baozi too. the aubergine dish (kept) was delicious, like the tofu soup, and the sweet was really well done. also loved the presentation, and did not find the price inappropriate. the menu is all in Chinese, but there is a handful of pictures next to each other, but not for every dish.
Go through a tunnel entered simpleness, refined vegan food restaurant with English Chinese menu. served with warm lemon water. good selection of Chinese food.
This restaurant is easy to find, because it is located in a large shopping center (5f.) which looks like a human ear, is in bambus and brings it into the restaurant exquisite atmosphere. very bright and elegant setting, with super-supporting employees (they have every paper we have on the table, with some wooden discs) and high-quality eating. they pay much attention to the teller presentation and we enjoyed the whole experience a lot. we ordered 5 courses and we spent only 90rmb/each. only a small problem: if they don't speak Chinese, it can be hard to order from the menu: only in non-reinforced Chinese without pictures!
As you enter through a tunnel, you arrive at Simplicity, a sophisticated vegan restaurant offering an English and Chinese menu. The restaurant boasts lovely views of the river and greets guests with warm lemon water upon arrival. The menu offers a variety of delicious Chinese dishes.
I decided to dine at this restaurant based on previous reviews, and I was not disappointed. Having been to many vegetarian restaurants in China, I can confidently say that this is one of the best! The interior is minimalistic, yet elegant, with picturesque views of the Yangtze River. The service was excellent, with refreshing watermelon and water offered upon arrival, and attentive staff throughout the meal. I ordered three dishes along with baozi. The eggplant dish (pictured) was mouthwatering, as was the tofu soup, and the vegetables were expertly prepared. I appreciated the thoughtful presentation and found the prices to be fair. While the menu is entirely in Chinese, there are a few pictures provided to help with ordering.
