Ταβέρνα ο Σταύρος

Very nice food and very warm and welcoming people. Everything we ate was excellent and well priced. Prefer it from the shops in Pythagorion which are mainly for tourists

We tried the kontosoubli which was delicious although it was the last portion so it was a bit dry, braised veal with potatoes and grated cheese which was excellent and a vegetarian dish with pita, tomatoes, onion, pepper and tzatziki which was very honest. It was 10.30 so some dishes we wanted had run out but I imagine they would have been of the same quality. For sure when we go back to Samos we would eat there again. I don't give 5 because we went to another similar restaurant in Samos (behind the port) and all its food was available.
